I recently came across an OLP luke, it was a very very good price and in almost mint condition, so I put it through an amp, and damn the sound was absolutly amazing for the money(<£200) I couldn't say no, so I bought it.

Now, I want to mod it ie - New Trem, Tuners and Nut, and I was wondering if anybody here has modded their OLP Luke, and if so what things they have put on it, you know just to make it that little bit better, and could you please tell me.

Any Ideas would be great

thanks guys!

Can't help ya but I would say +1 on the OLP.
My mate has an OLP AXIS that is fantastic for the money.

I'd leave it as it is - give it a set up and save your money for an Ernie Ball guitar.
I gave my mates AXIS a bit of TLC on the neck and it made it so much better
There are some great guys on this forum who in the future may sell ya one of their EB Lukes ???

Hey mate, good to see another UK forumite.

I'm kind of with Spud on this one.

I say leave the OLP as it is. For the money it's a great guitar, but if you go modding mad on it you do run the risk of being the guitar equivalent of one of those guys who buys a Citroen Saxo for 5K and then spending 20K modding it to end up with a car worth 5k !
Whereas they could have saved the 20k and bought a used Porsche !
I say enjoy playing the OLP Luke and in the meantime save the cash towards making the leap toward a real EBMM.
Shop about a little bit and these pro standard 'Proper U.S. made guitars' can be bought secondhand for the same money as new Korean/Mexican guitars.
But less of my preaching. Enjoy the guitar.
