I had a seriously bad day at work today. Won't get into that as it is not needed. However, my band practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Today being Tuesday....I could not wait to get my guitar on and play some great metal. I was so relaxed once my JP Dargie Delight II was on....and as always she did not let me down. Nothing to wind up a bad day with a great guitar in your hands. I am so relaxed it is amazing. See what this addiction does....it is therapy. Thanks Pops and all at EBMM. Rave over.

Koog,

Yeah I feel the same way!! Especially with a little volume on my JCM 900 - the louder it is, the more distant the problems.

Oh yeah, rock on.:)

As you all might imagine, being out of work is very stressful. For me, everyday can be a bad day.

I find when I grab my guitar, crank it up and freak out... it helps. I can get lost in playing.
Plugged in or just sittin in my chair unplugged... great stress reliever.

It's like driving a car....if it starts making noises you don't like, just turn up the radio and they'll all go away. :)

Glad you have a healthy outlet for the stress Koogs!

I think we can all relate ... nothing feels better after a lousy day than being able to play your heart out.

yesterday i was jammin out in the sunroom at my house had my lil practice amp and my HSH silo and was rippin out some blues... and i mean just rippin out some "i've had a crummy day at work and people (minus knuckleheads) suck kind of blues" everything was coming together and thought i'd make a few tweaks to my nova to test some settings and i hear my neighbor clapping... like standing at my fence applauding... at this point i remembered i opened the windows when i had got home from work and forgot to shut them when i started playin...

total plus for havin the best guitars in the world available when you're havin a bad day...

Good that you were able to relax.
I had the opposite - a bad rehearsal!!
Soundman didn't turn up as promised.
At the 3rd attempt- I got a stereo lead to work (guess what saved the day - a genuine EB stereo cable - fanks fing!)
Bass player and other guitarist had a get together earlier in the week and totally revamped a number we had rehearsed for months - then expected me to "read their minds!!"
Other than that - it was fine!!!
