I like it... screw the norm...

and no, not you NorM
It wasn't till I hit the quote button that I chilled out.

I think:
The pinkburst AL is an instant classic.
I liked it better the way it was.

If your happy with it then more power to you and your guitar.

Nothin wrong with this combo, you just need black knobs and black pickup covers though to complete that look.

The more I look at it the worse it gets! It's almost as bad as putting tort on just about anything.

If the pickguard wasn't bad enough, the body shape just makes it worse. :D:D

"no, he didn't!", Roburado

If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

Pete, I'm beggin for pardon for my previous reaction to this pickguard. I was like a deer in some headlights! Is it an EBMM gold swirl? Did someone say already what it was? Anyway, to me the stunning top on the BFR Al does not need any competition; as in "busy or clashing" pickguards. That guard is just over the top on this guitar. The white/pearloid is very nice on it. But, what about clear? A clear guard would look really nice, and let the top show.... Of course you would see some innards. I guess a clear guard could have areas that were opaqued.
Anyway, if it's a gold swirl and you want to part with it, PM me with details.

I agree. The top on that guitar is stunning, but I can't think of many pickguards that would complement it well.

Jim, that's an orange swirl.

Soes I goes and looks at music-man.com and checks out the examplifiers of gold and orange swirls..... they are quite differ-rent aren't they. That one of yours doesn't look really orangey in the pics, er maybe it's cause it's up against the pink.

wonder how it would look on translucent gold?
