Just checked out a cool video

Now, the bad part. Only I can see it...hehehe...sorry fellas! Here is the story:

My buddy kbaim made a video of some of his tunes and sent them out to me. Well, I have had the video for a few weeks, but work was really preventing me from sitting down and being able to watch it. So, today was a very miserable day at work and I decided that the US will have to do without me for half a day!
Just hoping the phone doesn't ring...heheheh.....

So, I said to myself "Self, you need to check out Keith's video because he is awaitin' a response." So, I popped the vid in the VCR and sat down. Here is the results:

OH MY GOD! Dude, that was some of the most inspirational playing I have heard in a very long time. I am so moved by your playing. Just like the time you played "Dreamin'" for me when I was in Cali.....man.....AWESOME! I have that same feeling right now. Just moves you in such a great way! It goes without saying, Keith, you are one hell of a guitarist!

Needless to say, my day has been lifted and I am in a much better mood than I was earlier. My wife said you are a wonderful guitarist. She loved "I'll Miss You." and said it was beautiful. Dude, I am moving the T.V, and VCR into my other room with my guitars and will just sit back and watch and learn. I will take your advice and come up with some things to go along with your material.

To all on the forum: I have had the privilege of being able to sit down with Keith one day over the summer and I must say...if you get the chance to meet him...do it. Your guitar playing will benefit, but most important, you get to meet him as he is super cool to boot.

Well now....aren't I the priviledged one! heheheheh.....I am really not that super computer technical, but, I will get one of my boys on it to see what I can do......but, I must ask Keith permission...how about it bud? Mind if I let the video get copied and distributed on the 'Net? Maybe a tune or two? There are some wonderful tunes on there and if you want them kept guarded, I will honor that. So, it is up to Keith and then I would have to have one of my "techie nerds" help with the other stuff.

Seems like a lot of work to put you through.

I tried to watch tristan's Petrucci video of only 1:26 and it took like 20 minutes to load half of it (I'm still 56K). So I gave up and still haven't seen him play.

But if you wanna go to the effort of doing it, I'd be honored.

...though I don't remember playing ANY tune on there w/o a mistake or 3.

Whichever tune or tunes you think are worth it. Knock yourself out.

Oh gee I apologize to everyone here, especially to Tristan, that is not how I intended it to be read...now I can see my error...I was proclaiming "whooppee" because Kbaim allowed koog to air his(kbaim's) musical talents, then in surprise I was commenting that I was unaware that Tristan had a video...even though I visited his site, and loved his guitar playing, I was unaware of a video...again sorry for the confusion, I was in no way being sarcastic...sorry!

I think what I will do is this...get one of my techie dudes on it and see what they can do. I would love for everyone to hear Keith play. I have heard a few of the bros on here and man....just makes me play that much more. This is good stuff here. Maybe I will pick one or two tunes at a time and post it that way. Hopefully, I can get it done real soon....I'll keep ya posted. BTW Keith, it WILL be worth the effort.
