it is because you are a newbie...as you become a contributing member to the forum, selling your EB gear is a perk...it is an earned perk.

The policy seems to be that for sale ads are allowed for contributing members. If your first post is a for-sale, it will most likely be deleted. They are really trying to have a discussion board, not a market place here.
If you were following these forums, I suggest you hang around for some time - this board is a really cool place.

OK..Here's the deal. This is not ebay. We let contributing members let other members know if they are selling an EB/MM guitar/Bass. This forum is for the discussion of EB/MM instruments and things related, not for the sale of said instruments.
