...belt buckle!

I found a box with old pictures and assorted memorabilia the other day and found this. I used to wear this in late 70's early 80's. Copyright date on the back says 1978. Didn't know much about Musicman back then - it was a bass belt buckle - had to have it. Little did I know that 30+ years later - I would be a Musicman Fanboy!

Now you can really give your bass some righteous belt buckle rash!

Too funny neighbor. Here's mine that I bough in '78. I bought the buckle just after I bought my first MM Stingray the same year.

Kevin: Awesome!!!!!!

I don't remember where I got mine - maybe Southglenn mall or a music store somewhere. Visited Prosound in Boulder a lot back then - Brentwood Music on Federal. Do you remember where you bought yours?

And congrats on the Dargie Bongo fretless - you are going to love it.

Bill - I'm afraid I wasn't in Colorado back then. I was in the San Francisco Bay Area and think I bought it in Fremont or Hayward. I thought it was the coolest thing to have a belt bucket that matched my bass. That's about as close to a fashion statement I've ever made... Although it might look good with my UtiliKilt now...
