Just had the phone call ... my guitar is in.
I'm just gonna set off to get it in the next hour.

Also heard last night that Albert Lee is going to be playing in North Wales, UK in April - I think I'm gonna schedule a work "visit" to one of the offices in North Wales around that time lol!

Needless to say I will post loadsof pics.

Got it !!!
Straight out of the box after the trip across the pond, 3 of the strings were in tune - gonna have to have a word with Beth in C.S. about that Ha!

The neck!!!!! man what a feel - loads of birdseye too - it looks sweet.
The sound is amazing - EB you have done a sweet job -thanks.

Will post pics later - have taken some but have lost daylight so the images are a bit "washy" taken with the flash.

Lets get back to playing it !!!

sweet...cant wait to see it!!!

Foggy told me all about photobucket for hosting photos, so I have :-
set up an account
taken some photos (using flash ...... Boo hoo! I much prefer daylight)
tried to get into Photo*uckit and I can't get into their server to host them !!!

In the meantime I'll try and post some low res photos and try Photo*uckit
again tomorrow.

I just got back from the local pub and there was a band of (old) Cardiff Musos, namely
Paul Chapmann - UFO & Lone Star
Kenny Driscoll Lone Star and The Gary Moore Band
Burke Shelley Budgie ( & I still whipped his a*se at pool !!!)

Wow did Chappers rip up the fret board !!!

Told them all about my new AL !!!

Edit .... sorry about the size /resolution - I'll try again tomorrow -still these will give you a flavour !!

i'd like to try that little marshall out !!!!!
i suspect that amp to sound REALLY GOOD......

Tommy it's a real nice amp - I bought it brand new when Marshall brought out the Silver Anniversary model.
When I used to gig a lot it did used to struggle against the other Guitarists 100 watt amp and our drummer who used to play HARD!

It's a great amp, which links up really well with the POD XT - it can sound very "Fendery".

I think that they are difficult to come by now but I am led to believe that Marshall introduced a "Slash" sig model that is so close to it.

Tell you what though Tommy - it's a heavy little Mutha!!!

Gonna put the AL through it's paces this afternoon through a Vox Valvetronics - man they are a real nice sounding amp.

Anyway I think I've sussed out Photobucket and will try posting some more photos.

Tell ya what - EB desrve a big pat on the back for producing such a good guitar, I've e mailed Beth in CS to pass on my thanks to the guys in the workshop.

Cheers

Spud-Man, very nice!!!! How's the piezo?

Glenn |B)

The piezo sounds awesome thro an acoustic amp - tried it thro an AER amp in the shop and "I want one!"

It doesn't sound so good through the Marshall, but when I model a different amp using the Pod it sounds a lot better.

I'm so glad I got the Piezo - theres a lot of work gone into fitting it which justifies the
expense.

Going out soon to show it off and crank it thro a Vox.
Cheers
