The local guitar store owner also has a small recording studio in the back of his store. He has been asking me for a while to come by and jam with him sometime. This week my schedule changed at work to where I now work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm and have Holidays off as well. I called him up tonight and we have been jamming the last several hours. I had a total blast. I brought my DDII Bongo and it simply killed in the studio. When we originally hooked up, I went through the amp he already had in there. Well I guess the last bass player was playing through a passive bass so when he hooked up my Bongo, I don't think he knew that it wasn't just an active bass but a radioactive bass with the 18 volts. As soon as I hit a note, it went crazy loud and his face looked like this. 
and mine went like this. Needless to say, he was really impressed with the Bongo and I think that was even his first time ever even seeing one before (we live in a very small town almost 2 hours away from civilization.) As of right now, we are planning on meeting again next Friday so we should have some more fun jamming next week. I think he also has additional friends coming down too so the Bongo and my Classic will be showed off then too. I might also bring my 18 year old son with me. He is a drummer but has never been in a recording studio before or jammed with a lot of people yet so next weekend should be a fun weekend. When we meet next week, I will try and post up some pictures and maybe some recordings if I am able to burn the rough copies to CD or record off of my cell phone.
