WOW.........it needed a new nut, so I got 2. 1 for spare and thats working fine as you'd expect with all its compensated goodness! It's had a nice thorough set up and the intonation is spot on. Action is fab yadda yadda yadda. He's done an amazing job which included..dun du duuuuuuuu!!!! Upgrading the switching to that of the BFR JP6. Awesome!

The thing sounds massive now. I always loved the sound of my JP6 but the extra switch adds a huge sound option. I'm loving it! :D

Yee for set ups. I got mine done for free last weekend at Long & McQuade, put 10s on there. I can't put it down now!

as musch as I like my AL, the JP6 gives me wood all day long. I would love to hear the BFR wiring. Is it a complicated upgrade?

Well Kevin sent me a wiring diagram for the BFR..........thanks KEvin! Phil, who did my guitar, said it was just a bit fiddly as he had to lengthen some of the wires. But aside from that he said it was pretty striaght forward. So it now has a push/pull pot on the tone pot. He did say though that the intonation is insanely good. He loves the compensated nut. He actually makes his own version from a really tough material.

I think he was pretty impressed with the guitar though. He's a really nice guy and I'd totally recomend him to anybody in the NW England area. I'd post a link to his website but not sure if I'm allowed as he makes his own compensated nut so that makes him competition right?

I will try and sort out some clips but I cant promise anything as I don't have anything set up at home really to do it.

Good point but It's different to EBMMs. Phil wouldn't rip off someones design knowingly. Besides, the fact that he was impressed with the way MM have designed theirs says something. It's something he's quite passionate about. And he just makes them himself at home. I doubt somehow itd do anything to EBMM's sales. God, I'd hate to think I'd get him in trouble.
