Pretty neat! Took a few attempts to get it "right" but I think I got it. I must admit that it is nice to be able to switch on the fly and pretty accurately. Most reviews are positive, a few say don't bother, but so far I think it's pretty cool. I am a little concerned about scratching the body with it though. And just when I was thinking that my Axis couldn't get any better...:p

I've had one on my axis for years and it's fine. To avoid scratching just unclamp every now and then and retune making sure you pay some attention to the fine tuners. May sure they are not over cranked... If that makes sense

Thanks. I noticed that the fine tuner can push it down pointing towards or even touching the body without too much trouble so I just set it at a reasonably safe distance and it seems to be fine.

Yeah, once you get used to it no problemo!! In fact, I always push it down slightly before popping it out, and I've yet to hit wood.
