On the JP 12 the tremolo bar is much stiffer I guess the adjective would be for it. When it was moved up it just stayed. On my jpx if I move it up gravity knocks it back down. Now, I'm probably being ignorant but is there a way to adjust the looseness (if you will) of the term bar? Thanks!

Oh really? And how does one do this? Is there a video anywhere showing the proper way to adjust this? Or is this something I should have someone else do?

Get your small allen wrench, Dive Bomb the Trem and the screw is under the backside on the part that is now exposed. adjust. Easy.

Nope, you're overthinking it. Just push the bar down fairly deep and you can see the adjustment screw. Then tighten as much as you like.

I set mine so it sways enough that I don't have to fight it when I need it, though tight enough that when I flick it out of the way it will stay there and not move.
I always throw mine so the straight part of the bar is pointing towards the strap button.
Just me though! I never thought there to be any benificial factors of having it very tight, or very loose.
Only personal preference!
