I finally ordered a lefty Bongo last fall and it only took a few months to be built and sent to me in Canada. It was actually pretty cool knowing it was on its way eventually. Its hard to wait for a new bass but the wait will be so worth it. Great color choice too!

Yeah, that sounds about right, mate for us in UK. I've ordered a Big Al 5 and was told up to 20 weeks, I am on the 9th week gone as we speak, and I tell you the wait is no fun. I suppose it would be even more horrible if I didn't have any other EBMM basses to keep the pangs at bay, luckily my Stingray, Bongo and 25th are doing a great job of distracting me from the "void". Congrats on your choice and I suggest you find yourself something else to keep you occupied in the meantime, because waiting for a new Bongo is known to drive people insane.

I sold two, and have three new ones incoming! But having no MMs is just plain wrong I agree. My collection looks weird without them.

It'll be worth it. I'm guessing 4-6 months I'll have all of them. In that respect it's cool as it's like a customised MM as you can order what you like :)

All EBMMs are special orders in that the retailer has to order what they want as EBMM doesn't (to my knowledge) keep an inventory. In general, that's why you see many of the popular finishes (black, white, natural, sunburst) stocked in the stores; they generally tend to sell better than others and that's why the retailers order them like that.

Congrats on the Bongo order. Sterling Silver looks very nice on a Bongo. I'm in the waiting boat as well and will hopefully have mine by mid July.

We only make something if we have an order for it. There are orders that drop out from time to time but usually there is very lettle on hand. THanks for the support and I love Bongos Still!

Just ordered a Bongo as well, from the UK as well. I was told 12-14 weeks? Will it usually take more than 14 weeks or 14 weeks is just a safe margin and it'll usually take a lot less time? Jesus ****ing christ I can't wait. My first MM.
