Just ordered my Sterling

Just put in my order with Jack & Steve for a Black HH Sterling w/maple board--yippeeee

Now, Jack assures me that I'm not opening myself up to sarcasm when I pose the question: What does everyone do to kill time until the bass arrives??

I'm thinking--count the blades of grass in my front lawn

I have been really busy lately so I havent had too much time to think about the wait.

Actually, I hope to be sending him a check real soon! I can wait the 3-4 months. I actually played a Sterling last week, for the first time. Great bass! I did find a bass (used) I'd like to look at.... But I'm still sending a check to Jack! Good luck (ya don't need it), with your new purchase.

My waiting time is so very very nearly done - shops been invoiced and the bass has left customs its that close.

So far I'm likin' Psycho's option, but I may have to settle for maddog's idea and play my H Sterling til then.
I don't have a connection to get Cuban cigars-so that's out. Or, I can just try and figure out what Jack's reply means (me bein a dumb bass player 'n all)....

while waiting for my hs sterling i killed time by buying a lot of other stuff. ya, sorry, thats no help
