just thought this thread was in need of a little edit, just wondering on ways i could cover the signiture,

wow..you have a very nice guitar pete!!

btw, my luke also has lukather signature on the back of the body.. but i will never sell it to anybody..:).. especially because of the signature..

I was thinking of which part of my F1 will I let JP sign... I was thinking the backplate, as I can always buy another one from EBMM... Not to keen on signing on the front of the guitar...:D

oh i was gonna get this clear stuff put over it, apparently they use it as a clear pick guard, not sure wat other options i have apart from laqure, any sugestions????

I had clear nail-polish in mind...

Any better suggestions?

yea thats what im probaly gonna do but i wouldnt mind another/cheaper alternative, does the nail polish idea work ok???

I reckon that it will rub off or even chip off after some time. Just like on what nial polish does on nails. But a quick re-paint of it will do the trick...

i mite try it on some wood first, when being playd it doesnt get rubd coz of its location behind the trem, and im sure i wouldnt hit it on anything.

dont cut corners now...it is a beautiful sig and a nice guitar...do it right the first time and be done w/ it....the nail posish idea will not achieve the ultimate goal and will probably ruin the sig! BEWARE!!

I don't know about the nail polish idea either....get it done professionally that way you have peace of mind....:cool:
