I just ordered a Bongo in Desert Gold from the great folks at Bass Central. Mike is an awesome guy to work with, by the way. It should arrive in mid-October. I can't wait. Now what do I do to keep from going insane until then?

I ordered a 4 string HH 4-band EQ. I played around with one at GC for a while and fell in love with it. The range of tones it produces is amazing.

I'd like to thank BP and everyone at EBMM for making such a great bass. But please don't come out with something "bigger and better" at Winter NAMM this year. My bank account can't handle it. :D

Well, the 6-string will definitely be bigger. ;)

Congrats on pulling that trigger. I had a Bongo 4HH. They're tone monsters!

Waiting will definitely turn you a little crazy  I'm not a very patient person when it comes to waiting longer than a week for anything. It will definitely be worth the wait though, when you finally get it , you'll play it all night :D And then the 6 string will come out and it will start all over :p

I hear ya. What I usually do is keep two or three out on the stand and have one or two in their cases, then rotate them out after a few weeks. This way it doesn't look like I have so many. The only problem is the kids can't keep a secret! Since I only have two at the moment and another one on the way, I'm safe for a while.
