How are you all doing? I have been lurking for a little while, reading the posts and checking the forums out. Just picked up a Silo on the bay, and am waiting for it to arrive. It's possible that this Silo has already had pics posted via the previous owner. It's white with maple board, HSH config and white pearloid PG and black pups. (previous owner replaced the white Paf Pros with a black tone zone and black Air Norton) I am anxious to hear what it sounds like. I've played a few Silos, a stock non piezo Petruci in that nice cobalt? blue color and several Axis's. I've been wanting a Silo for a long time. REally want a hard tail Axis SS and/or a Silo Spcl in the future. I've been a tele player for several years now, and even though I love EBMM guitars I will keep my beloved tele, till death do us part. LOL Maybe an Al will change my mind, and I will certainly give one a chance. I play through vintage Fender amps exclusively, and the Silo will be destined to cut loose through a handmade point- to-point wired 64 BFDR clone I'm currently building. I'm not currently in a band, and play mostly at home. You'all have some really nice Music Man guitars. Iv'e looked over most of the posted pics. They are all very nice an give me a super case of GAS everytime. I really like the Subs too.
When my Silo gets here I will post some pics and fill you in. For now, it's nice to meet you'all.

Hey jamminjim, welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll like the Sil., but wait til you get your hands on an Axis - from that, there's no going back! ;) As for Tele's, they're killer guitars. I had a '52 RI that I adored - swore I'd take that thing to my grave... sold it about a year and a half after picking up my AL...

Welcome man!

Sounds like you'll have to try an AL in the future ... It changed Albert's mind and he was a die-hard Tele player :D

+1 on that.

Welcome to the forum - another electronics expert huh?
Hope we get to see/hear that amp you're building?
