....to EBMM for making such great guitars. The sound of my JP is absolutely amazing to me. Recently I purchased a Line 6 Spider II 15w amp for practice/late night playing. I also own a Jackson DK2, a budget model, but a good guitar for the money. Just out of curiosity I played both guitars through the Spider II just to see if there was much difference in the quality of the tone. The Spider II is a great sounding practice amp, but I figured due to the limitations of the amp due to size and whatnot that there wouldn't be a huge difference, though I did expect my JP to sound better simply because of the build quality and the fact that the two guitars are in completely different price ranges. Well, I plugged the Jackson in and it sounded good, I got some very respectable sound out of it. But man, I plugged my JP in and dialed up the Insane channel with a bit of delay on it, and it was unbelievable how good my JP made this amp sound. There was a huge difference in the quality of sound between the two guitars. I was surprised that it would be so apparent through such a small modeling amp. The JP, whether it was bridge or neck pickup, just sounded so focused and had a beautiful singing sound. It wasn't due to a difference in the quality of the pickups either, I had a Duncan Dimebucker put in the bridge position of the Jackson, and a Duncan Hot Rails in one of the single coil slots as well. I absolutely love the sound of the custom DiMarzio's in the JP. I would just like to thank everyone at EBMM, and JP as well, for creating such a great guitar.
