My youngest daughter is a lefty and when she mess around with a guitar she does it as a rightie and she's only 8.

Don't sweat it Dizzy, the only time I've found it difficult is teaching her to tie her shoes.

i'm with you buddy. my eldest has started picking up the guitar in a lefty fashion ... he's nearly four. started off fine though.

Hehe. Looks like my son's (4) going to be like my dad. He always grabbed whatever he needed with whichever hand was closest. Could do anything with either hand. I started out doing a lot of things left-handed, but my teacher's "broke me of the habit." Now the only thing I do lefty is swing a baseball bat, and that's because my dad wanted me to be a switch hitter. I suspect my son will play righty, simply because he wants a guitar now and leftys generally don't come cheap enough that I won't cry when he destroys it.
