That color have to comeback! Interesting that it doesn't have the 12th fret inlay, kind of non-commercial BFR I think, just for Mr. Lee

Awesome photos. I wonder how many pictures Albert has posed for over his career. I have one that I took with the man back in 96/97. Back when I had no idea who he was I more or less went for the clinic/discussion of the guitars. Wish I had that clinic on video.

Albert also mentioned that this particular guitar has a walnut block beneath the pickups (I think). What is the thinking behind that ? (hope that wan't a trade secret :eek: )

He probably mentioned the double-secret mahogany tone block, which has been discussed in many threads. The BFR Petrucci and Luke have this, as did the 20th Anniversary Silhouette. The use of that block of mahogany (which runs from the neck pocket to the bridge, I think) plus the other woods used... maple top and alder body thus far.. is supposed to be a great tonal combination.

D'oh! You're right, and in retrospect I do remember that one.

Guess that's why you're the head honcho at the ALOC. Earning every penny of that salary :D
