Was looking for "John Petrucci" guitars on the CL and came across a Ibanez JP signature model. It was IMMACULATE and also only 800 dollars! I immediately hopped in my car and called the guy. Thats right. I got in my car first! I was going to buy this guitar NO MATTER WHAT! Long story short I was an hour too late. Already sold it. I wanted to shoot myself in the face....

I told him how much he could have sold the guitar for. He then wanted to shoot himself in the face.

No it's not but this is the guitar community Ive decided to invest all my time in as oppose to the others. God forbid I speak of an experience that has to do with your most popular signature artist. It's no crime to want johns Ibanez signature I don't think. We all know music man is the cream of the crop times infinity.

Devin, our appreciation of Music Man is not the point. No, of course it's not a crime to want John's Ibanez signature. EBMM staff, endorsees, and of course us forumites own and love lots of guitars from lots of other brands. But this is the "Music Man Guitars" section of the official Ernie Ball Music Man forum.

BP simply asks that you discuss any other brand of guitars on their own forums and not here. Please respect that. You notice the total lack of discussion of other guitar brands anywhere on this forum? That's why. EBMM and SBMM here only please. For everything else, there is a more appropriate place.

If the rules change, BP will let you all know, but until then, this discussion is finished.

Devin..I really cannot believe that you compared your treatment here with Nazi Germany. That is just a line you cannot cross..

You say you like it here...one of the reasons is that there is order and guidelines that are really clear.....as a result some really great people make this a favorite.

If I had asked you to do something that wasn't at the top of the rules maybe you can compare a locked thread with shoplifting...but nazi germany?

Really you cause the mods here way too much work...either accept the rules or come back with an apology for your out of control baby rant because you dont like the rules.
