Ran into this listing and thought it really shed a lot of light on how great the Sterling Products are and how they help facilitate future EBMM owners...

Listing is Sterling By Music Man SB-14
This is one great little bass. Checkout the Youtube videos and Musician's Friend for reviews.

The only reason I'm selling is because this bass inspired me to buy an Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling. But believe me...there is a very fine line between the two (edited to remove pricing information). Also, I'm going to buy the Sterling by Music Man five string.

anyway... great job guys! i've never been anything but impressed with your products- and sure us Knuckleheads know it but now it's great to see others praising the great work as well. Keep it up! :D

The only SBMM I've played is an AX40. It was really well built, set up beautifully, and sounded pretty darn good.

Yeah. I A/Bd the regular petrucci and the JP50 at my local store and I found the SBMM to come really close. Ofcourse the hardware is different and the tone is different. But in terms of playability the JP50 comes really, I mean really, close. I was going to buy it but then decided to save the money for EBMM one. Top notch quality. I own an OLP version. It doesn't come even close to the JP50.

I'm giving serious consideration to selling another guitar (rhymes with Wender Clatofaster - American standard) and getting a Sil30.
