I adjusted my tremolo to 1 1/2 steps after I changed to different tension strings. It seems to be working fine. I didn't notice the height of the plate before I made the adjustment; so I'm not sure if this is the correct angle. Pic is attached. If it needs to be adjusted at a lesser angle what do I need to do? Thanks

"Standard setup" is that when you pull up all the way on the bar, the G-string raises from a G note to B♭ (a minor third). That's what Lukather prefers and is also a standard setup for strats too (e.g. Jeff Beck's preference). On my Silo Special that is roughly a 3/16" / 3 mm gap behind the bridge plate. But feel free to set it where you like it, it's all good.
