Why in a Fender box? Is it because Leo Fender founded MusicMan so they put the name? I knew he founded musicman though

I suspect it was a box the OP's dealer didn't have the original EBMM box and used another box that the EBMM case would fit in. I have my original box for my Silo Special and it definitely has the EB and MM logos on it.
