Well, if you remember, I had my ticket dilemma for the Satch show but it all worked out (e-bay had some last minute!) and here are a couple of pics:

I have one of Dave Larue also.

He was an AWESOME guy! Hanging out freelance after the show and smiling, chatting about anything. (Also wearing a Family Guy shirt!) His blueburst bongo was stunning! The color of the wood went all the way up the back of the neck and it sounded so thick, deep yet rich for the slaps pops and taps! Made me want to start playing bass....naaaaaah. So thanks everyone for your help with my dilemma and thanks again BP and Pete for the JP clinic!

I got to chat with JP and Dave at the EBOH. Dave is amazingly humble and friendly. JP's a damn nice guy too, shorter than I thought though!

Satch was shorter than I thought! Steve Vai, on the other hand, is a giant! I think JP's right in the middle.
