Nowhere as precious as Rob and Belinda's latest addition, but here's the latest addition to my family. Used, in terrific shape at a great price! Purple Silo Special!
Some nice birdseye too, but my older camera can't do it justice.

Nice! Should be dubbed the "Vinnie Moore Edition" He is the one that turned me on to EBMM back in 96-97 Saw him at a GC clinic in MI. He played the Purple Silo and a Red Axis that day.

Funny you should mention Vinnie Moore??? The guy I bought it from has recorded Vinnie's records. Check out

MILLBROOK SOUND STUDIOS - residential multi-room facility with vintage gear

Paul Orofino sold me the purple SS. HOLY CRAP you guys should have seen his studio! He gave my wife and I a tour. I have never seen such a collection of vintage guitar amps in my life! And newer rigs too. And the recording gear... And what an awesome, down to earth guy. I had no idea who he was or the big names he has recorded until I got home and looked him up on the net this morning. clik on the link "Click here to see more albums recorded at Millbrook Studio". Quite an impressive list. Now I am wondering if this was Vinnie's guitar! I'm gonna email Paul and ask.

I really doubt he would let that one go. He's played that one for at least 10 years. His has a Floyd if I remember correctly.

I'm not a big fan of purple guitars, but I really dig the purple silo special. Sweet axe for sure! Nice score.
