It finally got here this morning. It is overcast out right now so the pictures aren't coming out very good at all but the guitar looks amazing in person.

Ernie Ball Music Man JP6 with piezo in Lava Pearl. Plays like a dream. I decided to go with the original stock pickup over the newer models with the D-Sonic. I can always get a D-Sonic again if need be.

Either way, I love the necks on these guitars. Extremely easy to play!

I'm sure it's just the lighting.
It's just that Lava Pearl usually looks a little more orange.

Nice!!!!

The pics look rad red to me though.

Thanks everyone!

The lighting in my house this morning made the guitar look like it has more red than it really does. It definitely has those great copper overtones going on!
The other pictures in this thread are very accurate to how it looks.

You're right, it won't be my last EBMM!

I'm currently keeping my eye on a Luke carbon Blue. I will most likely pull the trigger in the next couple of weeks.

that is really nice, i love lava pearl!

i even played a JP again today, a brand new one, decided to give one a go for a few hours. maybe i'm beginning to like them now, it played beautifully.

You know you want one!!!

Even though I am seeking out a Luke I have been intrigued the Steve Morse signature: Drum City - Guitarland :: Inventory (the blue on half way down the page)

Looks to be very versatile.
