I've always loved my BCB AL - that is a keeper and will not leave me!!

Now the 06 LEAL always took the bridesmaids role and although often played it was kinda hard to treat it as a "really good mate".

So today I took an Allan key to the string saddles and turned each grub screw 90 degrees then another 45 degrees.

What a result!! fabulous.

Next step after a few days bedding in and mucho playing is to restring it with RPS strings and while I've got the strings off, the rosewood :D neck will have a coating of Johnsons Baby Oil (trick of the trade). Will make the neck even better.

So a tip to you newbie guitar setter uppers - take it a bit at a time and measure/count each turn you make.

Don'f forget the ALOC meeting at the end of the month - usual place usual time !!!;)

Dr. Spud, So you lowered the action of the 7-fetzer valve and installed a flux capacitor?
then filled the fuel cell with baby oil? Genius Doc.

Test Test - I can't seem to post what I want to this thread - strange!

Edit 1 I can even edit it - doesn't it like the word "knob" ?

Edit 2 No, knob is ok ??

Edit 3 I wanted to start off saying (one line at a time)

All I need are some exhausts, a tacho and a pool ball to screw on the trem and job's a good un.

I was trying to say earlier on (but my server or EB server was throwing a wobbly) was that my one ounce of scrap gold has been made into a solid gold trem and pickup selector knob.
I'm going to do the machining this week then hand it back for final polishing.

Sounds nice Spud, doing you own set up work is a plus, but said tweaking will not exist without pics:D
