Hey there kids. I joined the forums to get some feedback on lefty EBMM guitars! I am trying my damnedest to get one, because the necks on the rightys I've played are incredible. So, who's played what? Are any left tremolo systems available as floating?

I received an email saying that the Luke is availabe lefty, but the EMGs aren't really my thing. Does anyone know the main man of the company so I can start my bribing and begging now for a lefty Petrucci? Thanks kids!

welcome, my left handed brother :)

The LUKE tremelo isn't technically "floating" like a Floyd Rose, but EB sets it up so you can get about 1 1/2 steps UP out of it...seems to be plenty for me.

I'd guess that you won't see any other signature models available in Lefty, mostly because we're a rare species and it's a huge pain to engineer/tool/etc going from righty to lefty models.

hope that helps

jimmy-jengas,

Actually, we all know the 'main main of the company'. He participates in this forum as "Big Poppa".

But I don't know how you can bribe a man who has a bottle opener built into his sandals.

Hello there!

I own a lefty axis sport and it is absolutely fabulous! I've also tried the sil special which was super nice as well... I'm still debating wether my next purchase will be a sil special or a luke...

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the models available left handed :D

Sweeeeeet!

I totally just bought a lefty Luke. I ordered it from my work (I work at a music store up here in Canada) and got it in Luke Blue. It's tasty. I figure this will due until they finally say yes to my lefty Petrucci. (HINT HINT) I'll let'chall know how it turns out.
