What a fantastic week this has been. Not only did I order a 30th Anniv 'Ray, but I just found out Level 42 are coming to my town in October. I just booked a pair of tickets.

You dog! L42 is about the only band left on which I would risk hearing loss :) Of course they never come to the US anymore

Lucky bugger you..... I saw them in 1987 for the Running in the family tour.
I met Mr King after the show.

hmm whats the line up now ?

Gary Husband, Lyndon Connah, Nathan King, Sean Freeman and original keyboardist Mike Lindup.

Nathan King is his brother, who plays guitar. He's been in the band for a few years now. It'll be good to see Mike Lindup back in the band.

What was he like? I always thought he came across as a little arrogant in interviews.

He was nice but came across a little arrogant. I think he was more interested in checking out my wife rather than small talk....not that it was a bad thing.
It was a weird gig because of the tension between Phil Gould and Mark K. Phil wasn't playing well that night and seemed to drop time with Mark on several songs, and Mark gave him some dirty looks. I had later read in the press that Phil had a coke problem. and was fired from the band.
It was their only atlanta Ga. appearance.
