hey guys... first time posting.

i received my OLP Tony Levin model bass in the mail a week ago... brought it directly to my repair guy for set-up, an, unfortunately, it has a unfixable bowed neck! sending it back and getting another one from Music 123. they have some on order for late October... bummed.

i guess you get what you pay for.

thanks.

Bad necks happen from time to time--especially on lower priced instruments. Hell, bad necks happen on higher priced instruments, too. It sounds like Music 123 isn't giving you the runaround, so while it might be another couple of months of waiting, be thankful that the worst of your problems these days is waiting for a bass--I don't think I need to bother with examples of how it could be worse.

I'm sure you'll be pleased when it shows up. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the family! I hope the bum neck was discovered prior to having any major work done! Better luck with the neck'st one!

I considered an OLP 5 but quality control
and playability nixied the idea. Ain't nuthin' like the real thing!
