After playing the HH LIII for a couple of days, I have decided that I honestly am not in love with it. For $1800..I should be. Hard to explain, but I just wasn't digging the tones. She's definitely a looker and has the same feel as my HSS..but the 2 Hum thing just doesn't work for what I'm doing now and I already have a 2 hum modded old Ibanez that honestly sounds better (IMO)..My eyes are bigger than my ears sometimes and I was intrigued. If I were rich, I'd hang on just because again.. shes stunning, but life is too short to not love your guitars.
I am posting here because I just sent it back to the Music Zoo in Roslyn, NY and they should have it back in stock by Tues or so. Whether they will discount it because I held it for a couple of days is unknown. If you are on the hunt for one, call them and have them hold it for you upon arrival.
I may go back to a Silo Spec and just bump the pickups up.
