Well I have been looking for something a little different, inexpensive and simple, so when this popped up in the for sale sticky I quickly inquired and bought it as an early Birthday gift to myself. A little black Sub thats been modded in a cool way
It started life as a two hum, tone and volume, plus all the original parts came with it but I bought it for what it has morphed into.

A single Bill Lawerence and volume control only with a nice custom pickguard.
Dont remember what BL it is but it is unique a lot of quack and twang to it, I like the tone alot.

Gave it some TLC yesterday, a good cleaning, fretboard condition, new set of strings and a quick set up and added the q-parts volume knob, plus wonder wipes instrument care wipes work great on a Sub finish, most likely going to get some schalers for it, me likey:D

Oooooh, yes yes yes.

A quality little axe indeed.

The addition of Schallers is a top mod, mine is rock solid with them.

Of course, be sure to join the SUBOC.

ill be buying that off u next week mate hahahah

Deano, LOL and I will sell it to you:D

Actually going to put a little more cash into it and do some minor upgrades,
going with black scaller mini locking tuners, going to order another Pickguard the solid black is nice but shows scratches to easy and want a little contrast and am looking into some new saddles.

Also probaly going to buy a new case or gig bag for it.

The case that came with it works but it is, to use a Fender sales pitch, Road Worn.

If anyone wnats a road worn case let me know, just pay shipping and its yours:)

Pick guard and pickup change, or happy with the 'Lawrence pickup?

How much of a contrast? White Pearl? Black Pearl? Moonstone? Abalone?

Questions questions :)

No the PUP stays, the more I use it the more I like it, as far as pick guard looking to stay on the darker side black pearl or moonstone would be nice, anyways something along those lines:)
