Well we played our first live gig, if you can call it that, more like a jam evening to get people interested in the new fascility. Anyway, the recording isn't the best (we forgot to plug in the 8 track), so this is from my video camera (video forthcoming, yeesh although I don't think you want to see a fat guy hug his pet).
Again, this song has only been worked on twice, the first time I posted it, then we worked it over the second time...I'm not trying to make excuses for the poor playing, just to update you guys on our status. Now it's about 24 min's long, and the end is rough, it seems we couldn't end the song. I think they, the bass player and drummer wanted to go on, but I was spent. Oh and we may have a keyboardist joining (crosses fingers).
Anyway here it is, you'll also notice we've pretty much decided on a name:
AuraToned, which comes form the word Aura, and tone, but also includes the word ,
orotund \OR-uh-tuhnd\, adjective:
1. Characterized by fullness, clarity, strength, and smoothness of sound.

Here's the tune
AuraToned: Live at the Roots Cafe

THANKS!
My feet still haven't touched the ground...I have been blessed with a bassist and a drummer that, quite simply put, have the ability to follow me, even when I screw up...it's funny though cause when I solo (or try to, cough, cough) they follow my every move, hahahahaha...hopefully when we get a keyboard player in, it will help the rythm section a bit...
