Here's a live pic of me playing "The Bass Ship," my Bongo 5 HH Sterling Silver/black pearloid pickguard.

Cool pics! I take it you were playing at an airport then? Either that or you all have one heck of a stage set up!

We were actually playing in an airplane hangar. One of the more interesting "venues" I've played at, for sure.

I guess it was appropriate that I played "The Bass Ship."

You played in an airplane hanger. Dang, doing sound for that gig must have been a real challenge. I can only imagine the reverb going on. But that aside, I do have to admit that a place like that actually does sound (no pun intended) kind of cool to play.

We're fortunate enough to use sound engineers that have a lot of experience running F.O.H. for national acts. The variables that these professionals run into on a regular basis makes them able to cope with unique circumstances without so much as a second thought. It's comforting to know that our sound is being handled this way.

Since we've "opened" for more national acts than I can possibly remember without referring to our web-site history, we also know how to work with these experienced sound engineers. We do our best to make their job easy, as well.

So, did you play Pink Floyd's "Money" (... referring to the Learjet lyric)? ;)

YES!

We play that song!

Our keyboard player also plays sax, so we do it just like the original. Since he sings it, he fronts the band while our frontman plays keys.

Volume: Full

Pan: Center (sometimes a slight favoring of the bridge pickup)

Low mid/high mid/treble: All boosted half-way above center detent

Bass: Boosted 1/4 above center detent
