OK, Stingray...own up... did you go to the gig ?

Not been to Pittsburg (stay Irwin/Latrobe way - come to town for Steelers) for 4 years but seems to be a very good thriving music scene there. Is that still the same ?
Many bars/hotels with bands playing.

Cheers

This is my gig... That's me in the picture.. With my big al that was a gift from sterling and the ebmm forum/ community. And it hasn't happened yet.. It's Saturday night, but you better believe I'll be there, screaming and rocking and rhyming and entertaining the masses. Cause I am Ernie, and that's what I do..

Hey Erin, if I'm ever in Pittsburgh, I would love to come and see you guys play sometime. I've only heard your stuff on here but I like it! Love that bass too!

Thanks guys.. Interesting fact. That is actually 3 different pictures taken by 2 different photographers. When I was asked for a photo of the band I didnt have one that looked "printable" so I put that together in a couple of minutes. Special thanks to my dad and our buddy Jason for making the photos. And pages for letting me stick em together. Jay let me know if you are ever in PGH. You really can't understand what Ernie and the Berts do until you see it in person.. People ask me what we sound like.. And all I can really say is that "we annoy old ladies" but then they always buy a t shirt. So I must be doing something right.

Pittsburgh is a nice place to live.. It does get cold for a solid four months every year. The music scene here is full of talented local bands, but small on mid level touring acts.. I have a band called Locksley coming in from out of town on the 12th and am struggling to get people excited.. This is one of the best power pop bands touring right now, and nobody seems to be interested. But they will drop everything to go see their girlfriends brothers lovers puppies inbread mutant hoedown, with little to no prodding and fill the place up. I'm just hoping a little press will help get some people out to more events in general.
