When I'm Double Thumbing on my Bongo I tend to hit the volume knob. Any suggestion on how to "lock" the knob so it won't move if I hit it.

Blue paint masking tape. It's designed to leave no residue.

There's a more elegant way. Go to the hardware store and get some rubber or plastic washers of the appropriate size to fit underneath the knob. Take the knob off, put on the washers, and put the knob back on, pressing down on the washers enough so that you can turn it, but there's some resistance.

wow I just took the knob and the pot is low enough so I don't hit but still have full control over it. I can always put the knob back on.

be a man and bypass the volume pot, then remove the pot altogether.

Amps have volume knobs and Ernie Balls' got a volume pedal if you want one. :)

Couldn't you just bend it to the point it never moved again? Set where you want it hit it with a hammer. If it still moves hit it agian kind of thing. :)
