Logo colour fades away

Anyone encountered colour fading on MM logo?

That's the first time I ever saw this, had to check my headstocks right away...no fading at all. How old is your JP?

March 2006 but it came with colour a bit faded. To be honest i never seen anything like that nothing major but its just strange.

I've seen that quite a few times, but it seems to be the case only if the logo's color is gold, which is (i believe) only used on the JP.

Yeah...the logo is fading. Big deal! Does it play well? Does it sound good? Great! Now play it like you mean it.

I don't think it's fading, per-se, it's just that Chuck Norris is currently using half of the world's gold color to keep his hair nice and golden blonde. Looks like your guitar was too close to Chuck at some point.

I have difficulty telling if mine is or not; I think it is just slightly. But I think it looks better that way

Mine has for sure. It's the side closest to the fretboard that has faded some... it's gold...

Like i've said it's not major problem guitar still plays well and its still No.1.

It's called Mojo. Fender will try to charge you money for artificial ageing...yours came free!! Nice JP by the way, always loved the Pearl Red.

Yeah...for some reason, they like to charge extra for beating your guitar with a chain...never made sense to me.

Ask Koogs about the mojo his Bongo has...

My JP^ is pretty much faded. I suspect this is an issue with using gold coloured paint. Somehow the colouring doens't last. No issues with the black or white logos on my other balls though...
