*Disclaimer: I'm from overseas (Singapore) and we go through an authorized retailer for shipping because of favorable rates*

I ordered a JM Signature Bongo 6 on Jan 6 this year and was told there was a lead time of 6 months. Checked in on them in May and the shipping team updated the ETA to be in July. Long story short, the latest from the EB factory was that now there's an additional delay of 2 months and ETA is pushed further back to September.

I cannot see the reason for the delay. Has anybody experienced the same thing - i.e. long delays from the factory?

Thanks in advance for the replies!

There are still continuing pandemic related delays, which are causing issues with the supply chains worldwide. This is not going to resolve anytime soon, and guitars are made from parts that comes from all over the world. I had to wait well over a year for an amp I ordered, as well as a guitar from another company.
