I've been the owner of my Silhouette Special since shortly before Christmas, and I'm happy to report that the honeymoon period doesn't show any signs of letting up soon :) !

I've had lots of left-hand problems over the past 5 years, and been through a lot of guitars in that time period. I think the EBMM Silhouette Special neck may just be the cure for me; I've been playing a lot without any pain or numbness issues so far.

I wound up with a vintage burst, rosewood board, s/s/s, trem, and shell pickguard - I was looking for something to fill the Strat jones, and this has really done the trick.

At any rate, the pics of the guitar are long overdue; here is a link to my Webshots page:

Now all I have to do is be careful - I've heard these things are quite addictive :D

I really like the tort. on burst you got there. Very unique look for an EB. That is a sweet Lead II as well.

Thanks - I kind of like the black pickup covers and knobs on the shell over the usual Fender look with white covers and knobs.

I'm the original owner of the Lead II; I've maxed out the truss rod, tried some shims but the action is still too high for real comfort, but I won't let her go for sentimental reasons. I consider her retired these days.
