Long Scale .074" for Guitar

Hey guys, I tried searching for a while, but I found nothing regarding guitar strings...

I just got an Agile Septor 828. It is quite a long scale length at 28.625" which means that the .074" string in the 8-string pack doesn't extend all the way to the nut before the taper. It's off by almost an inch. This is causing me some intonation issues and I'm wondering what I can do to help remedy this situation without using a tone-killing bass string. Does EB have anything for us long-scale players?

Hi, not sure if you still need this info...

I own an Agile Intrepid with a 30" scale. It has a fixed, string through bridge, so long strings are a must!
I found that the EB single .074 strings that I had been purchasing from my local music store (special order) were long enough.

I then found out that EB had an 8 string set. So I purchased a set and found that the .074 was waaaaaaaaay too short.

So I am back to special order singles at the music store (EB part# 1174).
I am not sure why there is such a huge difference in the length between the 8 pack and the singles.
