I bought one of my Axis sports from them, they were ok. Though they weren't the cheapest.

You best bet is to have someone that lives near there check out anything you might want to get and make sure that there are no problems.

Good luck. Glenn |B)

I've seen that store on Gbase before ... how the hell can they afford to stock the inventory? That's a lot of gear stitting around.

Frank, since they've never been sold before they are new and I'm pretty sure that EBMM considers them new.

My AL had been bouncing around GC for 3 years. When I bought it the frets had sprouted really bad. I called EBMM CS got a number and shipped it back, Jon went to work on it and the thing came back like a different guitar. Jon did an awesome job on it.

I bought both of my axis there, one of them a supersport, they are the cheapest that I found here in NY and they do have some nice e-balls, they really push the EB brand there as well, all the guys that work there play them and stuff, believe it or not they used to have an even better selection, when I was looking for axis ss's they had almost every finish but that was like 4 years ago -

Well I dont know why they have been sitting around for so long, but the guy that owns the store told me that he sells one every day. As a matter of fact, when I was waiting for my Vintage Sunburst Silo to be finished at the factory, I foiund out about this store. I saw that they had the same guitar except with a turtoie pick guard, and also a Burnt Apple Silo w/ matching headstock. couple of days later when I called to ask wether they still had them, he said he sold them. He said he sells a MM every day. I guess the people in NY dont like some of that stuff except for a few of us ;) . Another reason mught be because his store in Brooklyn is in the middle of NOWHERE. I had to take a train from Manhattan to the last stop on a train I never take, and than a Bus. When I got out, there was barely any people around. I was actually scared for a bit. But I had Liquid Tension in my CD player to keep me pumped ;) . I checked out a lot of the MM's he had there, and they were in NEW condition. So I wouldnt worry about that. I played another Burnt Apple Silo he had w/ out the matchiong stock. It played pretty damn nice, and looked awesome. I wish I was rich JUST so I can buy these awesome machines, and build me a studio and just play all day and all night  . Anyway, that was my experience with Royal Music. I still have to check out his store in Long Island, cuz supposedly its bigger abnd has more MM's there. If any of you guys come to NY that's the ONLY place to go to actually see any variety of EBMM geeetarz. So I dont see any reason for complaints :D .

Don't like 'em....overpriced and unfriendly....the ones you see online are at the LI store...theres a purple axis sport there that is all faded that they have listed as a custom finish and it sat in their front window in the sun for like 5 years....still charging full price...

I hear ya, OC

I just called to check about the Albert Lee they have and it seemed a little steep in price considering there is no trem or piezo.

That was where I went to try out an AL before I ordered mine. I seem to recall they had one that Albert signed there as well.

Was the one they had a sunburst, 3 single coil model?

You guys shouldnt forget that this is FREAKIN New York (The Concrete Jungle), where EVERYTHING is expensive and overpriced. And I'm not even mentioning the FREAKIN Taxes (well I guess I am). I bought my special ordered Silo for 1500, and I DONT care about the price. (Sorry about saying the price EBMM people, hope you dont mind, since I'm not complaing :D . I'm EXTREMELY happy :D :D )

Regardless of price, I am still going to check it out (hopefully tomorrow)

He does have a nice selection of Balls but just because I live in NY does that mean I should get violated on the price of a guitar?

The answer is probably YES, unfortunatly! hahahahah
Hey, at least they are around here, so therefore I am glad I live in NY at least just because of this. I cant imagine what it would be like living back in my country (Slovak Republic). They probably dont even have Gibsons or Fenders, and if they did, I would probably have to sell my HOUSE in order to buy anything over there.
Cheers ;)

Roubster,
I hear what you're saying, perhaps I should count my blessings that I live somewhere that has a large selection of EBMM axes in close proximity to me....I still would like to get the best deal though  :D :D

The prices in New York are outrageous for sure. My wife is from there and it kills me to go there and pay a ton of money for something I can get at home for over half price. But, I don't mind, I get to see OC and that is worth it's weight in gold. The next trip I get to visit OC again and will stop by to see ernie as well. That's the best part for me. Oh yeah, I get to see the in-laws.....however, very briefly...hheheheheheheh.....

Find one you like and if the options are still available, give Pete or Bassplayr a ring and see if they beat the price. Unless, you want it right then and there.
