Beautiful! I wonder where he got those pick guards. Normally I'm not a fan of the way pick guards look but these seem to enhance the guitars.

A little bit more info from FB.

"D. ALLEN Johhny Blades run through a Martin six string customs, "Johnny harness". No Bardens at all. Pickguards and knobs are also from Martin Six String Customs."

"Now, to make them even better, Johnny uses a custom switching setup and pot/cap arrangement in his Martin Six String Customs Johnny Harness.

For the switching, pos #1, bridge, #2, bridge and middle, #3, bridge and neck, #4 middle, #5 neck.

For his harnesses we use slightly hotter 250k pots with very tight tolerances. The tapers are also as even as it can get. Caps are N.O.S. USA paper in oil.depending on guitar, they are a .05MF or .1MF"

Anyone know if those particular 24 fret necks are available to everyone? Or are they just made for Johnny, since he prefers the large fret markers?
