But, in all honesty and sincerity, the AL is by far the coolest looking guitar ever. It's just that right amount of tradition and funky all in one. I genuinely love the look of it, and after diddling with a few upside down, love them.

AL's just rule, period. Ive spent a few hours today playing various Fender amps, everything sounded amazing. Deluxe Reverb, Twin Reverb, Super Reverb- the AL is at home with these ampsz!

There's a couple of reasons why a left handed JP model has never been offered. I should know, because like you (except last year) I was nosing around for the same thing:

1.) Demand is simply not high enough. To warmly and accurately quote Big Poppa, about 3% of guitars are left handed. That is simply not a profitable venture, no matter which way you slice it.

2.) The bridge is a custom job that was created specifically for the JP guitars. It would be a very cost-intensive venture to create one left handed, and again, the deman for it would not surpass the costs.

3.) The JP is a model is designed to accomodate the artist in question. Since JP doesn't play left handed, then that means there is less of a chance. An "Okay" from JP would need to be had in order to proceed, plus a lot of funds to create said guitars.

Sidenote: The LUKE left handed was created because of some left handed golf player who donated a large sum of cash to the Casey Ball Foundation (correct me if I'm wrong) and through a stringof related events, the guitar surfaced.

Don't push on the boys and girls at EBMM to overstretch themselves any further. If it's meant to happen, then one day it will. Otherwise, go buy an Axis Super Sport, Silhouette Special, or LUKE and be happy.

Sheesh.

Now Tim, just replace all the "JP's" with "AL's" and you'll be all set, or just do another kick-@ss job defending BP from some forum troll.
