Do they set the action as low as the petrucci models? How do you like the stainless frets? How would you describe the pickups?

I'm not to sure about the action..all I know is that it's set very well.. It was a ease to play with no fret buzz etc.. Frets looked stainless but ill check again today.. I didn't ask any questions about that.. The pick-up I felt were kinda like what I have on my AL HH but it hard for myself to tell in those earphones & NAMM is definitely not the best listening environment! But it's a new thing for EBMM with the neck through and I think they've nailed it.. Something to boast about for sure.. Aloha :)

Someone explain the benefits to a neck through design please! I'm not knowledgable with this stuff yet.

Best thing about it to me is more wood contact between the neck and body. Tone and sustain are believed to be better and I agree for the most part. I have also found the necks to be more "solid" as in not much truss rod tweaking needed. Those are just some examples of my experiences with neck thru and set neck guitars.
