Í wouldn't go much higher than 650, like Brent said; it looks pretty beatened up...with ebay you never know, sometimes there are a lot of Lukes available and another time there are only OLP Lukes availabe...

PS I know Robelinda has got a STUNNING Burnt Apple Luke for sale, but I don't know if it's in your budget....Maybe you could PM him? Just a thought?:)

I'm looking for a Luke also and am not on too tight a budget. I'm wanting a black or black sparkle (I know those are impossible to find these days) but would certainly consider other colors. Preferably a matching head and I want the piezo.

Can a nick like the one on the Luke on Ebay be repaired? I also have a guitar with some similar chips (albeit in a much less obvious spot) that I would like to consider patching up. Is it worth it to try?

Well, I'd keep an eye on eBay, the Gear Page, etc. There seem to be none for a while, then there's a flood of them.

Found Luke...EB story

I have found a Luke...of sorts...I am sure I will be kicked off here in short order, but I found a Valley Arts that has the custom McGuire graphics, like Luke's robot...now, if I could just get that hair.

I will share a story of my EB days....

When I was a product specialist at Line6 (Rky Mtn region, 99-01), EB and Line6 had a pretty cool relationship...my boss and Sterling were friends...anyway, I was using Jackson PC's at NAMM and in my clinics...working hard to get that Jackson deal...and they blew me off at NAMM, both appointments. my boss, Joey, took me over to meet Luke at the EB booth(he and Luke are buddies since junior high)(yeah, I got real lucky with the job and I miss it!!! ha ha)...Sterling was there, and I fell in love with a white sparkle Luke. I begged Joey to see how much I could snag it for, and it wasn't for sale at the time....but Sterling told Dan McPhearson and maybe Derek, I'm not sure who was in AR in 2000, to take care of me. Now, I paid for everything...these guys are way cool in that way, I repect a company that doesn't just "give" stuff away just so it gets seen...but they did my picks, strings, and a custom Albert Lee for me that just rocked...I also, after the NAMM show, was so ticked at Jackson(not the company, but a few people...they make great stuff) I took my PCs, sold them, and immediatly went to GC and bought a Black Sparkle Luke, just so I'd have a an EB,,,,what a great company to work with...I also had a honey burst Axis that just kicked too...everyone there took a country hick from NC and made me feel as important as anyone, and I was just a salesmonkey trainer...they got gone in the "divorce", and I liked those guitars alot...so there's my EB story...and I still want a real Luke..maybe for christmas...
