Hi people,

Im looking to purchase a Musicman Luke with the Piezo option. Im based in the UK and can,t seem to find anywhere that supplies them here or ships in from anywhere else. Can anybody help me? Also, I dont mind looking at a used guitar option if anybodys looking to sell.

Many thanks in advance,

I know for a fact that there are piezo Lukes in stock at the distributors Strings & Things. Ring up Machinehead in Hitchin and they will tell you what guitars are available. They can get you a guitar in a couple of days to try out....

Thanks Dave, just spoke to the guys at Machinehead who were brilliant. Just ordered a Luke w/Piezo, Pearl Blue, w/matching headstock for a great price. The guys are setting it up for me and I should have it this Saturday 30th.

Again, thanks for your help buddy.

Hey guys,

Just got back onto the forum after my new Luke guitar was delivered Saturday morning 7.25am. ( I was like a child on Xmas morning... The wife thought I was on some form of drug...ha ha ! )

Man, I could not have dreamed how beautiful and so utterley comfortable this guitar is to play. Im sure you guys are well aware but the neck is perfect for a guy not gifted with the longest of fingers, especially if you are attempting some string skipping licks... hmmm !

The sound from the EMG's blew me away, i mean totally. Its my first experience with these pickups and my jaw is still scraping the floor. The piezo pickup is nice & bright with a lovely warm tone that gives you that acoustic sound at the flick of a switch. Mixing the two when you are utilising a clean Jazz Chorus sound, sends tingles up your spine....sparkles...ooh nice !!!

I've been using the Roland VG88 system for some years now with a custom built Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro via an internal GK2A, but after playing the Luke, Im gonna start gigging with my PodXT via the Luke as the sound, comfort, beauty has just got me hooked.

I had to gig last night with the Eggle/VG88 as I haven't had a chance to program all my live sounds to the PodXT, partly due to the fact that I was playing the a**e out of the Luke all day, and I felt like I was being unfaithful... ha ha !

Anyhow, back to the string skipping thats been paining me for so long ! Thanks for welcoming me to such a cool forum, I look forward to being in touch with such learned friends, Ciao 4 now.
