Looking for help with my new JP6

Want to start by saying Hello to all! This is my first post.
Anyway, while searching for an amp the other day in GC, I stumbled across something I've been DYING to get a hold of but could never afford...
A Mystic Dream JP6! Needless to say, after playing it for one minute, I decided to forget about the amp for a little while.

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me a little about what I have, and maybe what year it was made...

Its a Music Man Petrucci, mystic dream, matching headstock. No piezo.
Serial number is G15492.
I snatched it up for 850.00 out the door. I think I made out alright, but don't really know. The guitar is easily a 9-9.5 out of 10. Flawless except for VERY LITTLE pick wear by the high E. Plastic is still on the back.

Anyway, its by far the best guitar I've played in my 10+ years of playing.

Hey John,

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on the new purchase. If you got a mystic dream for $850, I'd say you got a killer deal.

A rule around here is you have to post pics of your guitar or it doesn't exist.

P.S. If you don't get a date of birth answer for your Petrucci from this thread, start a new thread that say "D.O.B request" And put in your serial number in the post. Someone from the company will help ya out.

I've got a JP6 myself, and they are amazing guitars!

You did pretty good on the price, too. Glad the guitar is with someone who really appreciates it.
