Well, as usual, searching over the net about what's new in bass amplification world and found fantastic Mesa bass cabs demo video clips at their official page!
It would be nothing special, but presenter player play 90% Music Man SR4 bass, and in part 2 and 3 occasionally new Classic SR4! Of course, there's some other bass brands, but over 80% demos are played on Music Mans! :)

Check it out here:

Mesa Boogie Bass Cabinets Demo Video - Part 1 of 3

Allen Kamai, the official presenter bass player, really kickin' an a** of this Stingray and if You guys watch forward, ...no other competition bass brand doesn't sounds as good as Music Man! ;)

Do You guys wanna hear my personal opinion about the best fit bass/cab?

Definitely this Sunburst Ray with 115 Power-House Mesa cab!
My absolute bass tone winner! :)
( in part 1 video)

P.S. ...all regards to mister Kamai, first class bass player indeed! :)

Al is a big fan and long time Ray player. Except, that's not a new Classic...that's his vintage Inca Silver preEB Stingray. I know Tien has been pictured playing an old Sabre too.

Myself, I've been playing mine through my Boogies for a couple decades now. And as a 20yr anniv with my old faithful MB rig, I recently went out and bought a new Titan and PH810. Talk about massive tone! You simply can't describe the toneful force of a StingRay pumped through a 1200w rig!

Very good eye! I purchased the inca silver bass from the original Guitar Center in San Francisco around 1978 and I've been hooked ever since! I did recently buy a powder blue 5 string Classic with the tortoise pick guard and white pick up cover and I absolutely love it!

And to everyone posting on this thread, thanks so much for the kind words and comments! I just happened to come across the thread today and thought I'd introduce myself! I was introduced to Mesa Boogie by Doug West in the early 1980's and I've been a fan ever since. I saw Louis Johnson of the Brothers Johnson playing an inca silver StingRay and knew I HAD to have that bass! My collection is 10 StingRay basses with 7 manufactured between 1977 and 1981 with the inca silver bass as the crown jewel. However the 5 string classic has seen the most use as of late. Hats off to Ernie Ball for building the bass I have always wanted!

Just resurrecting this thread but for good reason.

As a kid I saw Wendy and Lisa play in London in 1989 and their bassist knocked me out. He played a beautiful (possibly Inca silver?) Stingray and I always wondered who he was.

Well, after some dedicated sleuthing, I discover that it was Allen Kamai.

Here he is about two weeks later on the same tour - and the band are very tight. 'Are You My Baby' is at 31.30 in...great playing.
