Got a 1999 Axis Super Sport w/o a case. Would like to know what kind of case would it have been... Tolex? SKB?
Any one know? I'd like to get one... but where?

Thanks!

Expect to be contacted by EBMM Customer Service shortly about getting an original EBMM case soon, I imagine.:D

Its a moulded hard plastic hardcase with musicman embossed on the side.
Will fit most models and also allows for the trem arm to stay attached.

I have purchased 2 super sports that did not come with a case or original case...

is there a conspiracy out there to steal the cases??
where do they go?

Not really adding anything to the topic of this thread but as a relative n00b, I love the idea that the EBMM cases have that wedge so you don't have to pull the trem arm. When I bought my Axis, I yanked up on the FR arm to case it, gave up, saw the wedge in the case and said "hey, wait a minute..." haha!

From a guy that's had easily 20 guitars with oldskool Floyds ... INGENIOUS!

First of all, welcome aboard! We would love to see some pics of your ASS! (forum rules - no pics, it doesn't exist!;))

The original case would have been the G&G Black Tolex case. They are very hard to find since they were specially made for the EBMM guitars (and were smaller than the standard tolex strat cases). Here's an example with my Axis:

You can sometimes find them on eBay...

Good luck!

thanks all for your input. Saw the plastic MM case on GC web site. would really like the original (it'll have to come from the bay.. I'll keep my eyes peeled!).

Again, thanks all- Hoy.

Follow up on my 1999 ASS. Pics will be forthcoming as soon as I can put her down long enough to take the shot! Holy J., I love the neck. I found out through EBMM that the neck was C&C'd matchded from EVH's early guitar; the thing is slightly asymetrical from Eddie's play- makes it dang comfy!

You could probably PM Zombi and he could find you one at a GC...

Thanks for the tip jamminjim. I called G&G and they don't stock cases, they fill by order... They can one-off a replica (from an original pattern) for my 99EBMM SS for 200.00! I think I'll search the bay before desperation sets in!

Thanks again, hoy.
