Looking to replace pickups in 2003 JP MM

I have a 2003 JP Music Man with Air Norton pickups. They still sound pretty good, but I like to do a lot of harmonic/whammy bar stuff and they just don't seem to have the sustain they used to after nearly 12 years of play. I was thinking of getting Illuminators since they're the newest version but I'm looking to get a little guidance on what's going to be best for this guitar.

I went through the same thing... was not 100% happy with the air norton custom and d-sonic in my 2007 JP. I first changed the bridge humbucker to the Illuminator, and recently also upgraded the neck. I'm very impressed, totally happy with the results!
